Sir,
Did you dig this ominous piece of darkness from the past, or was it created in the midst of Chaos on the hill? Either way, the release date and track title is quite fitting, regardless of ones perspective.

My god, what an absolutely incredible Suite. I'll admit, I've struggled to get into Pharoah Sanders due to diving headfirst into some of his most challenging catalogue and that never worked. This is the perfect place to restart. Floating Points is new for me and I can honestly say I've never heard synthesizer music this lush and organic before. the LSO is just perfect. This is one of those albums that any serious music fan needs in their life. The perfect swan song for the great Pharaoh! 5/5 ClassyMusicSnob
This is a quite outstanding opus magnus of Mr Thelen and his associate musicians. Musical and muscular prowess meet groove and melody. Highly recommended hypnotic stuff! Frank Hadlich
Dreamy, dubbed-out U.K. psych-rock that mixes aesthetics from across the decades for something strikingly contemporary. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 17, 2019
There’s a mighty cinematic sweep in the songs on the latest from Badlands, the big and imposing orchestration with dreamlike vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 27, 2022
As I very much liked his regular Fractal Guitar albums, I couldn't refrain from getting this collection of removes and unreleased recordings.
It might also have helped, that I read a Bill Laswell interview the other day :-) Carsten Pieper
